Educational and Experience Requirements
- Position requires a degree in B.E/B.Tech (M.E/M.Tech preferred) in the fields of EE/ECE or MSc (Electronics) degree. Candidates with very good academic background and have done microcontroller based projects in their curriculum are preferred.
- Additionally, a minimum of 0-3 years of experience in Software Development is required.
Overview:
A Software Engineer I shall be responsible for the development and testing of software deliverables. Personal development skills in implementation and testing/debug are essential. Additionally, the ability to effectively work within a team of engineers is critical. Adherence to schedule and quality processes and procedures must be demonstrated in this position.

Technical Skills
- Ability to find creative solutions to moderately defined problems.
- Creation of software for testing and product release.
- Unit testing and debugging of production software
Additional Requirements
- Must be fluent in C, C++ and good development practices.
- Knowledge or Experience in creating BSP software packages and board bring up packages for real-time or near real-time applications is needed.
- Knowledge or experience in Assembly programming
- Knowledge or Experience in VxWorks or WinCE real time operating systems. C# experience is desirable.
- Experience in using version management tools like CMSynergy/clear case is desirable.
- Experience in using process models like Waterfall, Agile scrum etc...is desirable.
- Ability to understand user requirements by communicating with Hardware Engineers as to what the product should do, research and collect data to support this purpose to help generate the final outcome of the product or system.
- Previous H/W design experience or training is a plus.
- Develop software systems and integrate with new and/or existing hardware specifications by designing and coding programs or modifications of programs.
- Strong Technical Skills in requirements definition, designing, code, testing, and debugging.
- Certifications in C/C++ is desirable.
