1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related computer field.
2. Demonstrated proficiency in C/C++ and/or Java programming. (UNIX environment will be a plus).
3. Good grasp of basic image processing, 3D graphics, visualization and data structures.
4. Basic understanding of Object Oriented Design (OOD) and Programming (OOP) concepts and Unified Modeling Language (UML).

1. Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related computer field
2. Experience software development in Diagnostic/Interventional medical device industry.
3. Experience working in a global team environment.
4. Strong verbal & written communication and influencing skills.
5. Strong Analytical and Problem Solving skills.
6. Willing to learn new technologies and flexible with roles and responsibilities.
7. Familiarity with industry software development practices, tools and environments –
a. Software development lifecycle from requirements to system integration.
b. Configuration Management systems – Concepts and tools: ClearCase, CVS or equivalent
c. Defect tracking tools and processes – Concepts and tools: DDTS or Clear-Quest or equivalent
d. Debuggers – Concepts and tools: gdb, ddd, totalview or equivalent.
e. Software Builds – Concepts and tools: Imake/make or equivalent.
