You should possess a bachelors degree in electronics or computer engineering. Additional qualifications include:

1. Good digital logic design skills, understanding of processor architecture preferably X86
2. Strong software experience in Shell Scripting, tool control language (TCL), Perl, and Linux*
3. Experience with specification of compute environment (servers, disk space, file servers and others) would be an added advantage
4. Good communication skills
