For the post of Deputy Manager/Engineer (CNC Maintenance) candidates need to have degree in BE/B.Tech in Electronics/Electrical & Electronics/Electronics & Comminication Engineering or Equivalent qualification from recognized university.

For the post of Engineer (Safety) candidates should have degree in BE/B.Tech in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Civil/ Production/ Metallurgy or Equivalent qualification from recognized university.For the post of Engineer (Environment) candidates must possess BE/B.Tech in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Science or Equivalent qualification from recognized university.

Age Limit: Candidate age must be below 45 years for the post of Deputy Manager (IT) and Deputy Manager/Engineer (CNC Maintenance) and 40 years for the posts of Engineer (Safety) and Engineer (Environment) as on 27-08-2012

Age Relaxation : 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for persons domiciled in J &K and 5 years for Ex-Serviceman candidates.

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) came into existence on 1st October 1964. The Company was formed by the merger of Hindustan Aircraft Limited with Aeronautics India Limited and Aircraft Manufacturing Depot, Kanpur.

The Company traces its roots to the pioneering efforts of an industrialist with extraordinary vision, the late Seth Walchand Hirachand, who set up Hindustan Aircraft Limited at Bangalore in association with the erstwhile princely State of Mysore in December 1940. The Government of India became a shareholder in March 1941 and took over the Management in 1942.
