Desired Candidate Profile

1. Computer Science/Engeering graduate/post-graduate from reputed institutes with good academic scores.
2. Hands-on with entriprise application development with Java, Spring,Hibernate & PL/SQL is a plus.
3. Working knowledge with Unix, Linux and Windows OS.
4. Good programming knowledge with Java and associated technologies.
5. Knowledge on design patterns and Object oriented design is a plus.
6. Working knowledge with various IDE, Java plug-ins, creating and building Java projects.

Job Description:

1. Be flexible and adaptive to project dynamics and be self-learner and self-driver of assigned tasks.
2. Understand customer requirements and translate them into state of the art solution.
3. Work closely with SW Engineers to design, develop, integrate and support applications associated with Cisco Smart Service offerings.
4. Ensure good quality delivery through innovative design, coding and testing (unit/integration) best practices.
5. Follow project defined process in deliverable and contribute to best practices process to drive quality delivery.
6. Author software architecture, design specifications, catalogs, test documents etc. (as applicable)
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to research, propose and prototype new principles, technologies, tools and concepts and integrate them into the teams collective knowledge.
9. Able to plan and execute his tasks with minimal supervision.
10. Good debugging and analytical skills to be able to get to the root cause of issues and drive resolution quicker for complex and challenging issues.
11. Provide on-time support to customer reported problems post GA of the release.
12. Promote knowledge sharing sessions in team and support organization initiative on innovation.
13. Collaborates with global team on driving engineering responsibilities and keeps management updated on status, challenges and risks.
14. Team-player, can-do attitude, will work well in a group environment while being able to contribute well on an individual basis.
