Candidate Profile:

1. Bachelor�s Degree in mechanical engineering and related filed preferred. Conversant in concept design, part Modeling, drawing and assembly
2. Knowledge on sheet metal and plastics design
3. Knowledge on drawing standards and GD&T
4. Knowledge of product design & product development
5. Knowledge of design software such as SolidWorks, Pro/E, CATIA, etc

Job Description:

Contribute to product design and product development activities. Working with cross functional teams to design and deliver product design by taking customer requirements, manufacturability, quality and cost parameters into account. Analyze product cost details and come up component design and simplifications concepts to optimize product cost

1. Create Concept and detailed design
2. Create Part and assembly drawings for sourcing and production
3. Ability to design complex parts/systems by understanding customer requirements and considering manufacturability, quality and cost parameters
4. Be able to work in a team environment and gather information for projects, hold meetings and professionally communicate both verbally and in writing with internal and external customers.
5. Establishes, coordinates and maintains project/ programs to meet established timelines.
