Desired Candidate Profile & Job Description:

1. Understanding various types of web pages and classifying them. Annotating and extracting relevant data from a diverse source of web sites.
2. To identify the ‘important/relevant information’ available on web pages.
3. Understanding the users of Search and determining what the users are looking for; especially North American users.
4. Understanding the cultural impact and sensitivity of the web content.
5. Making judgments about the quality and appropriateness of online content sources.
6. Performing relevance tests designed to measure data quality.
7. Create and maintain training documentation and guidelines.
8. Basic knowledge of HTML would be desirable, but not mandatory.
